Learning Resources Committee: The primary responsibility is to monitor the appropriateness of the learning resources available to students, propose and agree new developments according to
needs. Resource developments are determined by the Continuing Monitoring Process and Student feedback at the programme and module levels, by the partner University programme approval
processes and by monitoring competition. The Learning Resources Development Committee convenes bi-annually.
Peer Observation: The peer-to-peer observation is a developmental procedure that aims at exchanging experiences among peers in relation to their teaching practices. The rationale is based on
the observation of a tutor’s teaching session by other staff members and on their discussion on issues such as best teaching practices, strengths and weaknesses, proposals and ideas for
development. The P2P should be conducted in a spirit of collegiality and can be a catalyst for the development of staff.
Academic Committee: The Academic Committee is the supreme body of the College’s Academic Directorate and it consists of high-ranking members of the academic and administrative staff.
Student representatives may be invited in specific conventions. The Academic Committee convenes two to three (if needed) times a year.
Liaison Board: The primary responsibility is to evaluate the quality of the programme in discussion with students from each stage of the programme and to evaluate the quality of the overall
learning experience at the College and the partner University. The Liaison Board informs the Continual Monitoring processes compiled by the Programme Leader as well as the Programme Board.
The Programme Boards convene bi-annually.
Programme Board: The primary responsibility is to monitor and improve the programme’s overall quality and operation, in compliance with the standards and policies of the College and partner
University. The outcomes of the Boards feed into the Continuing Monitoring Report and provide the basis of future development of the programme. The Programme Boards convene bi-annually.
Module Evaluations: Module evaluation questionnaires that ask students to evaluate each module on several levels such as teaching, organization, resources and student engagement as part of
their self evaluation.
Module Self Evaluation: Self Evaluation at the module level as part of the continual monitoring processes of the collaboration with UoD
Programme Self Evaluation: Self Evaluation at the programme level as part of the continual monitoring processes of the collaboration with UoD
