An eminent scientific conference, following to the international standards of student conferences.
A great event, calling Great Minds to “Act Now,” which awarded the best undergraduate, master’s degree, and alumni presentation, and was attended by more than 400 participants, including representatives of leading companies.
A master’s degree scholarship at Mediterranean College was the big prize of the event, and was awarded to the best presentation on the basis of its originality, its fully-fledged research on the topic, and its scientific validity.
Oliver Siobotis was the winner of the 3rd Student Excellence Conference for his presentation: “An Analysis for the Construction of Penitentiary Institutions Using the FDL Method and the Impact on Therapeutic Interventions within these Institutions.”
Mr. Siobotis is and HND graduate in Counselling Psychology from Mediterranean College, a BSc graduate in Applied Psychology from the Mediterranean College in collaboration with the University of Derby, and has completed a two-year IC-RC certified course on Drug-Addiction Counselling offered by the Psychiatry Department of the University of San Diego, in collaboration with the Greek Therapy Centre for Dependent Individuals, “KETHEA.” Furthermore, for the past 8 years he has been working in group-therapy and individual counselling in “KETHEA,” and for the past seven months he has also been leading the therapy unit of “KETHEA.”
