Aim of the Induction Week is to make students familiar with the content of their studies, the nature of the UK higher education system, rules and regulations and supporting services provided by Mediterranean College.
The first week of the academic year is the Induction Week, while the first day of the Induction Week is the Orientation Day. Especially for postgraduate programmes, students’ orientation and induction take place within a day, the Induction Day.
On the Orientation Day all students are welcomed by the academic administration of the College and the partner university and they are informed about the College’s philosophy, its general regulations and the milestones of their future academic life. A separate International Orientation Day is organised for international students.
The Induction Week intends to help students understand what to expect from their chosen programme and what is expected from them. New students are also informed about the College’s procedures, available resources and services.
