Volunteering in social events and charity organisations is an important aspect of student life at Mediterranean College and helps in developing active, socially sensitive and environmentally aware citizens.
Mediterranean College actively supports the institution of volunteerism and students and staff are strongly encouraged to participate in voluntary programmes and activities, thus helping other people, protecting the environment and passing the messages of compassion, understanding and giving.
Our students, both through their Students’ Union and individually, take initiatives, organise and participate in volunteering and charity programmes (bazaars, blood donations, collection of goods, etc) and become the best ambassadors of the principles and the ethos that distinguish Mediterranean College. Their voluntary engagement has gained the appreciation of the wider community and has given them invaluable experiences, useful for life.
