The Students’ Union is in the heart of the student body and the liveliest cell of Mediterranean College. Through the Union, students can actively formulate the College’s extramural events and activities and make an impact on improving students’ daily life and welfare.
All students become members of the Student’s Union upon enrollment with the College and they have the right to elect or be elected for the Students’ Union Board. The elections for the Union’s Board are organised by the Student Affairs Office at the beginning of each academic year.
The elected Students’ Union Board is a connecting link between students and the Administration of the College. The Board members are asked to sit in the College’s formal Boards and Committees, to convey the students’ voice and participate in the decision-making processes of matters affecting students. Aim of the Students’ Union is to also encourage and mobilise students to participate in the College sports, cultural and recreational activities.
The Students’ Union Board is supported by the Student Affairs Office to organise activities, such as trips in Greece and abroad, parties, theater, movie and karaoke nights, sports tournaments and board games competitions. The Students Union is the vehicle with which student Clubs & Societies are formed and the multiple volunteering initiatives of the College are accomplished.
