New Students
Prospective students may apply for admission on any course of study throughout the year. All of our programmes commence in the fall semester, whereas a selected number of courses also commence in the spring semester. Some CPD courses start more frequently during the year. You can find more details on the course webpage or by contacting us.
You should note that on some courses maximum student quotas are applied. We, therefore, encourage you to apply as soon as possible in order to secure your place.

Undergraduate Courses – Standard Admissions Requirements
- MC Application Form
- Copy of High School Leaving Certificate “Aployterion” (General or Vocational High School), or equivalent
- Two (2) passport-sized photos
- One (1) reference letter (You are advised to use Mediterranean College’s Reference Form Template)
- Proof of English language competency (IELTS 4.5 level or equivalent)*
- Academic interview
- Copy of ID-Card or Passport
*For admission in programmes delivered in English, an IELTS 6.0 level or equivalent is required. Candidates who do not possess formal language qualifications will be assessed through the College’s internal English placement test.

Postgraduate Courses – Standard Admissions Requirements

- Detailed CV
- Two (2) passport-sized photos
- Two (2) reference letters
- Proof of English language competency (IELTS 6.0 level or equivalent)**
- Academic interview
- Copy of ID-Card or Passport

*Non-university degree holders, who possess professional certifications and/ or work experience, are encouraged to apply for a postgraduate course. Factors such as work experience and commitment to personal development may prove as an adequate indication for a candidate’s suitability.
** Some courses have different English language entry requirements, so check the specific course details for more information. Candidates who do not possess formal language qualifications will be assessed through the College’s internal English placement test.
All applicants are called for an Academic Interview with the Programme Leader of their chosen course and also sit the College’s internal English language placement test. Candidates, whose performance on the placement test is not satisfactory, are required to attend the English crash – courses that are organised by the English Department.

Transfer Students
Students of Higher Education Institutions (Universities, Colleges, Technological Educational Institutions) or graduates of Vocational Training Institutions may apply to transfer onto an undergraduate or postgraduate course of Mediterranean College. This process is called Recognition of Prior Learning and is conducted in consultation with the partner University.
Transferring students should additionally submit their academic transcripts and programme specification of the course they have completed or partially completed.
For advanced entry onto Undergraduate courses, applicants should have an IELTS 5.5 English language competency for Level 5 entry and an IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for Level 6 entry.
