Another innovative initiative of the Mediterranean College is the foundation of the Interbalkan Center for Education and Culture (D.I.K.E.P.) aiming at the connection to the Balkan area, which will drive the Greek economy to growth.
With the foundation of D.I.K.E.P., Mediterranean College, especially Thessaloniki Campus, aspires to become the lighthouse of Education, Culture and Development not only in Thessaloniki, but also in Greece and the Balkans.
The primary goal of D.I.K.E.P. is the communication of the Balkan nations through education, aiming at the intercultural approach and the establishment of new relations of scientific and business development.
To achieve the above-mentioned goals, Mediterranean College structures are about to host scientists, academics and distinguished professionals from Greece and the Balkan areas, as well as personalities from the areas of Culture, Art and Politics. All together, with the participation of the students, the research and academic staff of the Mediterranean College will organize Congresses, Conferences and Scientific Fora on issues regarding the Economy, the Social Sciences, the New Technologies and other scientific fields offered by the Mediterranean College.
The operation and further institutional development of D.I.K.E.P. will contribute to the production of scientific work in Balkan level, the tightening of the connection of Greek scientific and business community to neighbor countries and the cultivation of new ideas that will drive us out of the economic crisis.
