One week in Athens and Thessaloniki, full of open-access activities that aim to enhance student and graduate employability. This is, in short, the definition of the Employability Week of Mediterranean College, which takes place annually and is implemented with the support of its seven academic schools.
Lectures and presentations by industry specialists, workshops in cutting-edge topics, seminars on useful themes and field trips in organisations and big hotel units, are only some of the events that took place in Athens and Thessaloniki, in the context of the 2017 Employability Week.
Once again, leading corporations and organisations endorsed the Mediterranean College Employability Week, such as: OTE, Athenian Brewery, Expedia Inc, Mentor Hellas Scientific Engineering, Hellenic Anti-arthritis Association, ‘Panmonotiki’ Protection, Skywalker, Titania Hotel, The Met Hotel, Scientific Therapeutic Riding Association, International Refugee Committee, Hellenic Refugee Committee, Friends of a Child NGO, Hellenic Youth Participation NGO, Lavrio DHI BC, Peristeri Gymnastics Association.
The MC Employability Week is part of the integrated MC Employability Scheme, which was first developed and presented by Mediterranean College in 2012 and which runs its fifth successful year. The MC Employability Scheme includes focused events that aim to the professional development of students and graduates of all academic schools of the College: Business, Computing, Psychology, Education, Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, and Health Professions. The scope of these events is for Mediterranean College students and graduates to enhance their employability skills and successfully enter the current, demanding job-market.
Among the prominent events of the Employability Scheme, are also the Employability Fair, the Education Awards, the Student Excellence Conference and the Education Festival.
