Anna K. Mavrelos was born and raised in the United States and currently lives in Greece, where she is the head academic coordinator at a children’s center in Glyfada, Αttica. She holds a BA in Psychology, an MS in Education, and a postgraduate degree in Leadership in Education. Anna is a 21-year veteran teacher that has taught mostly elementary school in NYC public schools, where she was a kindergarten and science teacher. While being a teacher, she was also responsible for training and mentoring other teachers. Since being in Greece, she has experience teaching English in Greek private school settings. Anna is also currently finishing her Clinical Psychology Master’s Degree from Hellenic American College, which will allow her to start a new branch in her career that will combine her love for teaching and the art of psychology
At Mediterranean College she teaches, since February 2021, the module Developing the Skills of the Specialist Practitioner, on the postgraduate programme MA Education.
