Olympia Halikiopoulou holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Reading, UK and an MSc in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. Through her Master’s degree in Holland, she has received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness, as well as Neurofeedback techniques. Furthermore, she is a qualified professional in Cognitive, Neuropsychological and Psychometric assessment as well as in Cognitive Rehabilitation of Neurological disorders in adults and developmental difficulties in children. By participating in the Non – Directevité Intervenante (NDI) program, she has actively facilitated groups for teenagers with Asperger’s Syndrome through her collaboration with rehabilitation centers for children with special needs. Since 2015, she has been active in her private practice as a Neuropsychologist and Cognitive – Behavioral Therapist, collaborating closely with patients with epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, dementia and cerebrovascular disease, as well as emotional difficulties, stress and anxiety. Olympia is very passionate about Neurolinguistics, especially bimodal bilingualism through studying Deaf Culture and Sign Languages. She is Proficient in Greek Sign Language and has presented her research on counseling and Deaf Culture in various National conferences. Olympia strongly believes in continuous professional training and education and has been a trainee in Eclectic – Integrative Psychotherapy since October 2020, receiving her training from the European Institute of Counseling and Psychotherapy.
