“A new era has just begun! Dare to dream!” Mediterranean College Graduation Awards Ceremonies for Class 2020 & Class 2021, which were held in-person, were inspired by our new corporate campaign “The Future is Yours”. Thessaloniki Campus ceremony took place at Thessaloniki Concert Hall on Wednesday, February 16, and Athens Campus Ceremony was held on Tuesday, February 22, at the Athens Cultural Center “Hellenic Cosmos”.
Founder & Honorary President of Mediterranean College, Professor Sophocles Xinis welcomed the graduates and delivered the following address: “University degrees along with your academic experience as students at Mediterranean College, will help you to effectively face the inevitable difficulties, obstacles or failures, but also to accomplish with even greater wisdom and humility your great achievements… “.
Graduates were also greeted by the Vice Chancellor & Chief Executive of our partner University of Derby, Professor Kathryn Mitchell. “I want to truly acknowledge the commitments and sacrifices that many of you have made to achieve your qualification. So, on behalf of all my colleagues in Derby and here in Mediterranean college I extend to you our warmest congratulations. With the confidence and knowledge, you have gained, we ask you to pursue your personal goals now and realize your ambitions. We understand the challenges you have faced. However, you have shown endurance & mental strength and as new graduates we know that you have the strength, determination, and resilience to take advantage of the opportunities that will be given to you, but also to respond effectively to the challenges you will encounter! “, stressed Ms. Mitchell.
In the presence of the Founder & Honorary President of Mediterranean College, the Vice Chancellor & Chief Executive of the University of Derby and members of the College’s Academic Board, Bachelor’s, Master’s, Higher National Diplomas and Professional / Executive Diplomas were awarded to 1200 graduates of the Classes of 2020 & 2021, in Athens & Thessaloniki. Moreover, academic scholarships were awarded to the excellent students and special awards were given to professors and students, who triumphed throughout the academic years 2019-20 & 2020-21.
