Aiming to put theory into practice, staff invite in-class guest lecturers, who come from different corporations or academic institutions and bring a flavor of “real” industry practices and latest research findings.

Field Trips
The Business School organises frequent field trips to companies, organisations and institutions. Students are guided through the premises, they are briefed about the inner workings of the organisation and they are brought in contact with its executives.

Student Competitions
Business School students have the opportunity to participate in different competitions organised either by Mediterranean College or other institutions (e.g. Global Management Challenge, Business Talents). Participation can be either individual or in teams. Irrespective of the result, participation in competitions provides students with an invaluable experience and creates opportunities for networking.
Conferences
The Business School actively participates in different conferences taking place in Greece. The purpose is for students to be informed about recent developments on their field and cultivate their own personal business contacts.

Business School students also have the opportunity to present their projects in the Annual Student Excellence Conference, organised by Mediterranean College. Postgraduate students are encouraged to publish their research outputs in national or international academic conferences.
Research Groups
The Business School research groups comprise students volunteering to participate in the different research projects undertaken by Mediterranean College. Usually these are working groups that, under the supervision of their tutors, work on data collection and quantitative and statistical analysis. The results of these projects are either incorporated into the College’s Research Centre or are published in conferences or in the mass media.
Internships
Internships are an integral part in the learning process for Business School students, offering different experiences and direct access to employment. Despite the fact that the Business programmes do not require compulsory work placement, students are encouraged to seek such opportunities and put in practice what they have learned in class, through the internship places made available by the College’s Career office.
