Mediterranean College, the 1st University College in Greece, as part of the organization of the 12th Online Interdisciplinary Student Excellence Conference 2025, offers one winner a full scholarship for studies in a recognised Master’s programme of their choice. The winner will be selected by the Conference Scientific Committee based on the originality and scientific validity of their presentations, and will be announced between 13-16 May 2025, on social media and the college’s website.
PRIZE:
One (1) academic scholarship for enrollment at Mediterranean College, in one of the college’s recognised Master’s of the winner’s choice. The programmes are offered by the following schools: School of Business, School of Shipping, School of Psychology, School of Education, School of Health & Sports Sciences, School of Engineering, School of Computing, School of Tourism & Hospitality, and School of Arts & Design.
Terms of Participation
Scholarship for a Master’s Programme:
- The education scholarship for one of the Master’s programmes at Mediterranean College covers the total tuition fees of the programme, for all years of study, and is transferable to subsequent years without conditions.
- Excluded from the offer are application fees, fees of Collaborating Universities/Certification Bodies, graduation fees, as well as any other type of fee.
- Specifically for the MBA Global Shipping programme, the fees for the Internal Auditor ISM-ISPS-MLC Certification from the European Ship Inspectorate DNV are excluded.
- The education scholarship is valid for new enrollment in a new study program during the academic years 2025-2026 or 2026-2027 and does not apply to ongoing enrollment in any study program, whether postgraduate, undergraduate, or professional specialization.
- A prerequisite for using the scholarship for enrollment in Mediterranean College’s study programmes is that the winner meets the academic admission requirements for the programme.
General Terms
- Employees of Mediterranean College, their first and second-degree relatives, and their spouses, as well as legally incompetent individuals under the provisions of the Civil Code, are excluded from participating in the scholarship competition.
- Communication with the winner regarding the use and receipt of the scholarship will be conducted via telephone, email, or SMS by Mediterranean College, using the contact details provided by the winner.
- If the winner does not meet the specified requirements outlined herein or does not accept the scholarship within 2 working days from the day they are notified of winning, either by email or telephone, another winner will be selected.
- The Organizer reserves the right to announce the winner by name on the website and social media platforms it maintains.
- The education scholarship is personal and cannot be exchanged for cash, nor can its replacement be requested.
- The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or shorten the duration of the competition or change the competition’s prizes. The Organizer also reserves the right to invalidate entries, resulting in interested parties not participating in the winner selection process, among other reasons if the information provided is inadequate, or if participation overall contravenes applicable legislation, good faith, transactional ethics, or participation terms, or damages the image of the Organizer or third parties, whether natural or legal persons, or cultural customs and practices, etc.
The applicable law is Greek law. For the resolution of any disputes related to the scholarship, including issues concerning its validity, interpretation, and application of any term or any matter related to the scholarship, whether during its conduct or after its conclusion, including those related to the implementation of precautionary measures, exclusively competent courts are designated as the Courts of Athens.
