A different life experiences!
“A unique experience that broadens the horizons of participants, improves the ability to adapt and interact with students and academic staff of different cultures and cultures and develops communication skills.”
The above impressive description was given by students who participated in the current academic year in the Students’ Exchange Programme, organised in the spring semester by Mediterranean College and the partner British Universities of Derby and Wolverhampton.
Groups of students from the Universities of Derby and Wolverhampton traveled, were hosted in Athens and attended their programme at the premises of Mediterranean College. At the same time, in their free time, they toured around the beauties of the city, had fun with the students of the College and shared unforgettable experiences.
Similarly, Mediterranean College students travelled to England and attended their courses at the two partner universities. They were hosted in the residences of the Universities and lived for a few weeks the experience of studying in distinguished universities abroad.
Mediterranean College is the only College in Greece that has developed an Erasmus student exchange programme with partner universities, aiming to provide undergraduate students with the opportunity for an intercultural learning experience. The College’s exchange programmes are conducted in 3 durations: 1 Week | 6 Weeks (1/2 semester) | 12-15 Weeks (1 semester).
This exclusive initiative of Mediterranean College becomes a reality due to the College’s philosophy and strategy for:
- Establishment of franchise academic partnerships, where the programmes of study of the British parent university are transferred as such to Greece, faithfully following the content, requirements and academic calendar.
- Provision of bilingual teaching, where at least 50% of each undergraduate programme is taught in English.
- Maintaining strategic and multi-level partnerships with parent universities, offering multiple opportunities for interaction between students and academics.
The intercultural experience of Mediterranean College students is further enhanced through the College’s ever-growing community of international students, with representatives from 25+ countries.
