Field Trips, Fairs & Conferences
The School organises frequent field trips to hotels, conferences and fairs. Students are guided through the premises of the organisation or the Fair, they are briefed about the organisation’s operation, they attend workshops and seminars and develop their personal contacts with industry executives.

Paid Internships
Internships are an integral part in the learning process for the Hospitality School students, offering different experiences and direct access to employment. Students are well prepared by the School’s staff before they go on placement and are usually positioned in 4-5 star hotels or in premier restaurants, mostly during the summer season, between May and October.
Student Competitions
Hospitality and especially Culinary Arts students have the opportunity to participate in different competitions organised either by Mediterranean College or other institutions (e.g. Detrop, Expotrof). Participation can be either individual or in teams. Irrespective of the result, participation in competitions provides students with an invaluable experience and creates opportunities for networking.
Student Conference
Tourism & Hospitality School students also have the opportunity to present their projects in the Annual Student Excellence Conference, organised by Mediterranean College. Postgraduate students are encouraged to publish their research outputs in national or international academic conferences.
