Personal tutoring is one of the most important learning support mechanisms of Mediterranean College. All undergraduate students are assigned to a tutor, from whom they receive individual support for all academic, professional or personal matters.
A personal tutor is always available to support students and manage any academic or personal difficulty, by giving them advice and guidance and being concerned about resolving any issue arising during their studies in the College.
Although there are fixed, scheduled meetings between students and personal tutors four times per year, students have the ability to arrange more frequent meetings with their tutors.
This personal relationship allows better monitoring of students’ academic performance and has a positive contribution to their personal and professional development. The success of this institution is supported by the 1:8 staff/student ratio that is deployed at Mediterranean College.
